Re: Do we have a name for the new figs?

(...) You miss the point. I am talking about a name for the whole class of figs, which would include martians, battle droids, and whatever else Lego comes out with in the future that uses this construction style. (...) I'm OK with the look of the (...) (24 years ago, 29-Nov-00, to lugnet.build.minifigs, lugnet.year.2001)

Re: white hair & grey hair ...are these old folks only in one set

(...) And you can use it to simulate a pot roast too! It's actually a rather distressing hairstyle. Almost as disturbing as that one guy's grin, which can only be described as 'Jim Nabors on methamphetamines.' Now, if they'd make the buzzcut in (...) (24 years ago, 30-Nov-00, to lugnet.general)

  Re: brown minifigure head

(...) Okay, here's a better one: LEGO has purchased a stake in Sanford's, a maker of art supplies, and is giving us blank yellow heads so that we will go out, buy art markers, and make our own minifig faces! At least, that's my theory, and I'm (...) (24 years ago, 1-Dec-00, to lugnet.general)

  Re: The old sandbox analogy...

(...) Hehe. The scene started out yesterday with the three minifigs (minus the cop) sitting down in the sandbox, and the joke was the LUGNET minifig in the box. I decided to elaborate on it today for a much better effect. :-) -Tim (24 years ago, 4-Dec-00, to lugnet.fun)

Re: UCS Inspired Minifig Scale T-65 X-Wing

(...) Great model! I saw the pictures on Brickshelf before you posted here - when I saw the thumbnails I thought it *was* the UCS X-wing. When I opened the pics and saw that it was minifig scale, my jaw just dropped. Excellent job! I look forward to (...) (24 years ago, 5-Jan-01, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.general)

Re: Streamlining the parts selling process

I have not typically been buying sets to break down for parts, but there are some types of parts which are probably desireable that I (...) (24 years ago, 29-Nov-00, to lugnet.market.theory)
