Re: Captain Ahnee and the Dipwads

(...) I've seen no negative response to this by purists (I'm about 50% purist) but I like the way you edited your minifigs in post-production for more facial expressions. I think it added quite a bit. A minifig with a permanent smile, no matter the (...)   Re: Brick count for minifigs.

(...) Usually a minifig counts as 3 pieces: 1 head/torso 1 set of legs 1 helmet/hairpiece I seem to recall that visors are counted, but extra pieces aren't always counted, so if there's an extra visor, they may or may not be counted as 2 pieces.   Re: New Part: 973p109.dat Minifig Torso with Old Obi-Wan Pattern

Chris, When I view this using LDLite, with "front" view and "x8" zoom, I see a gap at the collar where the brown undershirt should go all the way up to the same height as the black markings and the (yellow) "neckline". Franklin (24 years ago, 22-Nov-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Re: The St. Theresa

(...) Ack, my Naval Annual is back in the Netherlands. The 'Actual' HMS Queen was a Majestic-class battleship, about (I'd gather) 15,000 tons, perhaps 450ft in length. The ship I built is first and foremost 'minifig scale.' All else is just designed (...) (24 years ago, 3-Nov-00, to lugnet.pirates)

(...) Yup - that's what it's like on the Old Obi-Wan I have. Is yours different? Maybe mine just has a colour registration problem with the brown. It would be dead easy to fix, but maybe other people could please check their Old Obi-Wans and provide (...) (24 years ago, 22-Nov-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Re: New Part: 973p109.dat Minifig Torso with Old Obi-Wan Pattern

(...) I just checked two of mine. For both of them, the top edge of the brown was even with the top edge of the yellow. However, for one of these two, the black lines were just a _tad_ bit higher than the yellow and brown. Hope this helps. Franklin (24 years ago, 22-Nov-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

(...) I can't speak for Dave!, but "I" am of this mindset. As long as the product is quality 99% of the time, I don't care who wins this struggle for marketshare.
