In lugnet.market.jambalaya, Ed Jones writes: <snipped> (...) You're right, the list is wrong. If you look at the update history, you'll see that I re-ordered the list a couple of times after e-mail dialogues with a number of folks, trying to piece (...) Kinda cool! Maybe I'll try this sometime, I mean, the minifig can always be melted out of there, can't he? I could use sugar, that way, I could *lick* him out of his crystal! --Tobias (...) (24 years ago, 28-Sep-00, to lugnet.general)

Re: Anthrpologicla Question Concerning Minifigures and thier culture?

(...) Good question! The only instrument I've seen actually made by Lego for minifigs is the Wild West cavalry trumpet. There were also drums built from bricks in the Islanders sets. Lots of people have done marching bands of various sizes, from TLC (...) (24 years ago, 20-Sep-00, to lugnet.general)

Re: additional sets in the LEGO Studios line

(...) Well, The "stuntman" minifig in sets 1352, 53, 56 and in the MovieMaker set itself, 1349, are all the same. It is a male minifig (see his stubble in 1356). It is the same head as "Sparks" the orange jump-suited RR mechanic. Yes, he has red (...) (24 years ago, 11-Oct-00, to lugnet.general)

Re: Painting Lego (Was: More Dragons)

There is a _translucent_green_ UFO head, I think, but it wouldn't be good on a Castle monster. My opinon on painting LEGO is that it shouldn't be done. To me, the point of LEGO is to build something new and unique using existing parts. To me, (...) (24 years ago, 20-Sep-00, to lugnet.castle)

  Futuristic Four Horsemen

  Enough with the microphones

Dear LEGO, Please stop putting microphones on minifig heads. The Alpha Team sets have some of the best minifig faces I have ever seen but I will not buy a single one because of those damned mics. Yes, the model kit designed worked well enough (I may try that setup for a minifig version) but I think TLG wanted to incorporate some sort of geared mechanism as opposed to just wings that you pull apart and snap together, thus lending it (...)
