| | Re: How many unique minifig faces are there?
|
| (...) I didn't see one of my all-time favorite figs, BIKER BOB! (URL) his head, courtesy of Bricklink... (URL) resource though, although I must admit sometimes I identify these heads more with the Brick Testament than with the Lego sets they appear (...) | Just a few more notes: Head 171 from your "have" gallery is the "werewolf guy" from the "don't have" gallery. Also, in the "don't have' gallery, aren't locker99-01 and 3626bpx95 the same? And "have" face 138, the glow in the dark evil skull is also (...) (22 years ago, 29-Aug-02, to lugnet.build.minifigs)

| (...) I think they are necessary. If you use this part with the armor, the notches are the cutouts from the armor edges. | | Re: how would I animate a minifig walking?
|
| (...) Well it certainly isn't going to look realistic because minifigs don't have knees or ankles. So basically the legs are just going to swing back and forth like pendulums. It's a really tough problem. Good luck. Adrian (22 years ago, 8-Oct-02, to lugnet.cad)

| This problem has been tackled by the stop-motion community as well, though we generally don't go over 15 fps. See something on it on the following website: (URL) film by YellowHead Studios: Animation Class Lesson 1. (URL) and Save target As... (...) (22 years ago, 12-Oct-02, to lugnet.cad)

| (...) <snip> The minifig might as well be King Kong to all those tiny vehicles. Outstanding, I've never given thought to doing something akin to this (I have a one-track mind, if you know what I mean) More power to ya! -Harvey (22 years ago, 7-Jan-03, to lugnet.build)

| | hair?
|
| What's the state of minifig hair in LEGO CAD? Last I investigated (it's been a while) there was no hair. I need male and female hair. I don't yet have a PC so I can't just browse the parts, or can I? Are there GIFs available? Thanks, Amy (22 years ago, 12-Apr-03, to lugnet.cad)
