| | Re: eBay Prank - Please Help

| (...) Ahh, the world is rife with freak coincidences. Why, just last week, a sports memorabilia collector ran an eBay auction of an old LEGO Castle minifig pack, just for kicks. He couldn't believe that people collected LEGO sets. His buyer started (...) (24 years ago, 2-Aug-00, to lugnet.off-topic.fun)

| | My first Castle MOC has been started!
|
| Check out: (URL) some pictures of the start of my new castle. It will be a Wolfpack castle nestled on a clifside by the sea. A large sea cave will have a dock area and an underground stream, with stairs leading up to the castle. A steep road will (...) (24 years ago, 29-Jul-00, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.castle.org.cw)

| | FS or T: Imperial Guards, castle stuff
|
| Hi. I have 15 Imperial Guards for sale or trade. Although I'm not at home right now (power's out there) to get an exact count, I believe the census revealed: *5 regular red torsos *1 red "officer" torso *9 blue torsos (and legs of various colors to (...) | (...) Huh. I always got a grainy, black & white impression from Bram's photocopier. But I'm using last year's model... ;-) To clarify: the spinning wheel Heather just published is a work of art, just like Bram's photocopier is a work of art. Both (...) | (...) spinning wheel is by far my favorite. Like Bram's photocopier, it captures the "feel" of a spinning wheel, in a minifig-scale package. I am impressed. :-, (...) Go, little brain, go! :-, Cheers, - jsproat (24 years ago, 31-Jul-00, to lugnet.build, lugnet.castle)

| | Re: Pepsi Machine
|
| (...) Nicely done! I like the Pepsi logo detail and hint of hinge on the left. The proportions are also not too far off from minifig scale. I built a replica of your design and put the "Joy of Cola" girl next to it. Gulp well, Andreas Stabno (URL) (24 years ago, 4-Aug-00, to lugnet.build)

| | does anyone actually play this?...
|
| Hi! Does anyone actually play the Lego Football (i.e., having bought the large set, do you really use it to play a minifig-scale game of soccer)? If so, do the "kick" thingies really work? How well? Thanks, Franklin ===== Franklin W. Cain | (...) (24 years ago, 3-Aug-00, to lugnet.sports)

| (...) I've found that a carefully cut piece of heavy construction paper inserted between the torso and legs can be used when you need to hang a scabbard off a minifig's belt - I'm sure the same would work for the Celts' tackle. | Well, here we go again. I've never complained about scale. I understand that the proportions of the minifig make this kind of a moot point.
