  Re: Lego Death Star

(...) I've built a Death Star before, but it's no where NEAR minifig scale size. If you think about it for a second, the Death Star was the size of a small moon. Now, if you scaled that down to minifig scale, the Death Star, to be accurate, would be (...) (24 years ago, 26-May-00, to lugnet.starwars)

  BrikWars Update

I've put up the HTML version of the first six chapters of BrikWars 2000 for public consumption (books Zero through Two), they're all newfangled and fancified with illustrations and hotlink cross-indexing and all that other good stuff you expect from (...)   Re: Building in Minifig Scale: Studs/Meter

(...) Well, I'm 6'5", so I see the world from a slightly different angle. I think the 2.75 bricks/meter value was fairly closely correlated from Star Wars sets, though I'm not entirely sure when that happened. I think the sizes of the A- Wing and (...) (24 years ago, 13-Jun-00, to lugnet.build)

Well you guys caught me. Yeppers, 1975 was the year. Here is the 1974 catalog (German) shows lots of sets with the new doors, but not a stiff in sight (from Horst Lehner's wonderful catalog website): (URL) is strange though, that they would produce (...) I seem to remember that there was a couple of three-wheeled lorries at some Japanese site as well. (...) (24 years ago, 10-May-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.town)
