  Minifig Heads

Is it just me or are some of our minifig heads evolving? I mean it all started with Jar Jar Bink's head in the 1999 Star Wars EPI Series of toys. That head was a pain in the slag. I've noticed that C-3PO's head looks that way too. And Chewies'. I (...) (24 years ago, 4-Aug-00, to lugnet.build.minifigs)

(...) I have a beef with this. The NAME I gave this was "Castle Greatsword" (not "Minifig Accessory Sword Large"). Now, if I understand correctly, you want to eventually migrate all minifig accessories *away* from the "Castle" (and "Pirate") (...) (24 years ago, 8-Jul-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

(...) The original reason we did that was this: you might spend hours and hours building your really cool vehicles (and bases), but even the most heavily customized SpaceMan rarely takes more than half a minute. So we figured, any players who put (...) (25 years ago, 19-Mar-00, to lugnet.gaming)

  Re: Takin' Pictures

There are really good second-generation "conference" type cameras like this year's batch from (URL) . The USB models are $120 with 350k- pixels. They're dinky and come on about 24 inches of leash. Good for "minifig POV" shots. I had one of the first (...) (25 years ago, 21-Mar-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

(...) Well, at least this one can be used for a huge storm troopers vs. wookies battle. Too bad it's not regular storm troopers though. (...) Cool. Although an unhealthy ratio of management to workers. The ninja packs are cool too. (24 years ago, 1-Jun-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.loc.uk)

  Re: Future Wild West Possibilities

On 30 Dec. 1999, in lugnet.western, David little writes: "...the pirate era was [when] most of the slave trading [ocurred] and lego avoided that just as they could with the Civil War sets." I'm all for African minifigs. I want minifig heads in all (...) (25 years ago, 22-Mar-00, to lugnet.western)

  Disney

I bought a Basic set, and in the mini-catalogue that came with they had some pictures of Disney lego. It looked like Fabuland, but the "minifigs" are bigger I think. They're about twice the size of a normal minifig. If you want a pic I can scan it (...) (25 years ago, 21-Mar-00, to lugnet.fabuland)
