for those of you returning to brickfest who may be familiar with the social aspect of this great fest, a big vignette (bignette) voicing certain attendees' concerns re the bar scene. the furniture came first, the v-pod encouraged by fellow lug member, jude beaudin. i argued that vignettes should have minifigs (yuck!) and he argued not. so my first intro to the v-pod. i have recently come into ownership of part 4535, (URL) cupboard 2x3x4>. it was available in the mid 80's in basic building sets. i am more familiar with the similar, smaller part, cupboard 2x3x2 which takes 2 drawers or one door. this piece in (...)   beach layout at parlugment's railfair
 
as you may have seen in previous posts, parlugment, ottawa's lug, participated in railfair on october 15-16. as part of the group, my contribution to the layout was mostly restricted to a beach area opposite the port. it's all right, i didn't mind (...)
