Re: Rendering with Motion Blur: MegaPov vs. Overlaying Multiple Pictures

Rob, have you heard about "Blender"? That appears to be more professional and some claim it to be faster. I myself have not tried yet.... I do not even know how to export *.ldr to other laguages than *.pov. I still stay with PovRay, since I have the (...) (13 years ago, 21-Sep-11, to lugnet.trains)

(...) Thanks Tim! Never heard about "Image Magick" before, so this tip was very helpful. Mostly I use IrfanView for all simple transformations. (URL) had a look into the compose-area and that should offer what I am looking for. Great! Leg Godt! Ben (13 years ago, 20-Sep-11, to lugnet.trains)

Rendering with Motion Blur: MegaPov vs. Overlaying Multiple Pictures

Hello to all train heads, since some life has returned to Lugnet.trains, I may use this opportunity to give a little info on my latest render experience. A few weeks ago I was looking for motion blur effects (to generate more realism in animations (...) (13 years ago, 19-Sep-11, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.cad.ray, FTX)

Hi Matt, welcome (back) in the zombie group.... :-) I have just tested a couple of waggons (10 new + 5 old to be exactely) for magnet power: when pulling apart a train of waggons equipped with different magnet systems I find no clear answer: (...)   Re: LEGO trains are great!

(...) Hello - At least Lugnet Train newsgroup has not been killed! I have to agree, that 9V is preferable for Club layouts, since battery power is not easy to be supplied for daylong operation. The rechargebale box loads extremely quick, however the (...) (13 years ago, 19-Sep-11, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: The Knight Bus problem

(...) Yea. It is sad. But it is also a reason to try and step up support. They are really one of the few companies that are trying to get it right, rather than just pandering to us and (more strongly) our children. And by us, I don't mean AFOLs, but (...) Well, then, all those that griped about Legends series ruining the value of their old sets won't have anything to complain about, since the old sets were the old gray and new "Legends" sets are new gray....That means to the AFOL collector who (...) Not TECHNIC, no DUPLO, no Designer (shoot, I just realized I could have asked for Space and Castle X-Pods) Secondly (and this is (...) I'm culling my personal LEGO collection to make space at home, I really have more than I need.   goodbye... and hello

So... it seems that 2004 is shaping up to be a year of change for the LEGO Company. But it is, I believe, very much change for the good; as turbulent as things are at the moment, the company is becoming more focused upon, and more dedicated to, its (...)
