Hi John! Indeed, very nice pictures! I wish the 45° sloped roof bricks would be available as supplementary box in germany too. We have no Lego® roof bricks left to buy here. During the last years we could get at least 22° bricks in red...... (...) (25 years ago, 10-Apr-00, to lugnet.trains)

(...) Hi Dave, a blue motor housing with black base, that means a very old motor like from sets 100, 102, 112, 113 from 1966 - 1968. So it's definitely a 4.5 Volt motor. I made a small update of my pages and added some of my latest buys like 116(yeah!!), 166, 4546 and new pics of 7727 and 7730. Yes it does, but since the torque runs via the vertical shaft, the wheel sets are trying to spin and due to this fact, the engine runs on straigt track at least as bad as most engines do in curves, probably worse. You know my English is not the best and I had to ask my dictionary which told me that "stud" means first any kind of studs (like we know them from Lego, clothing etc.), but it has the second meaning of a (...)   Expert question on set 180
 
In the building instruction of set 180 you can't see an important detail: is the fence doors baseplate 4 studs long (as the red ones used to be) or is it just 3 studs long (same as in set 167, which I got today)? Take a look at these pictures: (...) (25 years ago, 26-Apr-00, to lugnet.trains)
