  Re: Where you all at?

As far as I know, "LEGO Technic" is not a registered trademark by LEGO, and thus it has been decided to write it as "Technic" which means without capital letters. If you remember old logo, used also lowercase letters. Don't know however, why TLG has (...) (15 years ago, 17-Feb-10, to lugnet.technic, FTX)

  Re: BTW, Dither What Colors...?

--SNIP-- (...) Good thinking. Since the old colours were derived from the EGA colour palette I reckon the dithers would have to be derived from it too. Otherwise you could end up with some very different blends. I like your signature ;) Tim (15 years ago, 12-Feb-10, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)

Re: How Lego Saved My Life (Long Post)

John, your story has hit home with me. I share many of these experiences. I always thought that Lego was the one thing that did not talk back to me, tell what to do, draw unfair judgements on me, or otherwise. In fact it was the one thing that (...) (...) Somewhat unlikely. I have no sand red bricks and pretty much every tan brick I own is currently in the bank MOC. Indeed, I had a substantial outlay in HP sets, adventurers sets and lots and lots of bricklink orders to acquire sufficient tan (...) (22 years ago, 4-Dec-02, to lugnet.loc.au)

  Re: *** MLCad V3.30 ***

(...) I think Travis' wording may be confusing. Don't use "the old dither algorithm". MLCad 3.30 draws colors 256-511 as *solid* colors. That's better than using the stippling algorithm from previous MLCad versions. (No new/current software stipples (...) (15 years ago, 10-Feb-10, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)

  Re: *** MLCad V3.30 ***

(...) I noticed that when I remove LDConfig.ldr the old dithered colors are available, but no longer dithered. They're now solid colors. That's a big improvement! It makes the 256-511 rance of colors much nicer for printed patterns. (Dithered colors (...) (15 years ago, 9-Feb-10, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)
