  Re: Chain link fence/fence ideas.

(...) Speaking for The Netherlands (but I think this could be representative for a large part of Europe), all fences around building yards and so were made of wood up util deep into the sixtees. In my childhood memory, these fences were assembled (...) (18 years ago, 18-Nov-06, to lugnet.build, FTX)

  Element search with fuzzy categories

OK, here's the fuzzy element search thingie I was mentioning earlier tonight. It's ugly, it doesn't contain all possible information, and it's just a proof-of-concept toy -- but it's kinda actually helpful, and its results are sometimes surprising (...)   Re: The Brick Testament begins the Book of Joshua

Hi, Matthew. (...) I've reviewed the passages describing the parting of the Jordan, and while the text doesn't rule out that the water piled up downstream as well, I have to agree that it would make more sense to portray this scene with only one (...) In the past all my mosaics are unglued with a glued frame around to keep all the bricks in place. I was going to do the same with this and the (...)   Re: The Brick Testament:The Massacre of Jericho

(...) Huzzah! (...) I'm glad that worked out. I'd tried all sorts of combinations of map tiles--those newer ones from the Advernurers Orient Expidition made the most convincing war map, what with the palace, the dotted lines, and the X. (...)   Re: The Brick Testament - All Hail King Saul!

Hi. I can't come up with so much specific points to comment on except what has already been mentioned by others. I would just like to say that the stories seem to be up to your usual high standard and that I'm following the new stories with (...) (18 years ago, 18-Nov-06, to lugnet.build.ancient, FTX)

Re: The Brick Testament: Discharges and More

Hi, Bruce. (...) Yes, sometimes the distinction between a removed pair of LEGO pants and a severed lower body can hard to discern. I suppose if it were the latter, it would be surrounded in 1x1 trans-red tiles, knowing me... (...) That's a good (...) (21 years ago, 18-Jul-03, to lugnet.build.ancient)

Try putting some bricks together using your knuckles - that is with pressure feedback, now try doing it in a dark room :) It's a cute idea but I think you'd have *real* trouble with anything smaller than 2x2 bricks, or is that what you meant?
