| | Cave of Exile: Dark Secrets
|
| After many hours of working on this, it's finally done, the next chapter in my series. It takes off where Quest for the Crystals left off, where they were just entering the Cave of Exile. If you haven't read that story yet, or forgot how it went, I (...) (24 years ago, 30-Jan-01, to lugnet.castle.org.cw, lugnet.build) !!

| | Re: Castle Model
|
| (...) No kidding! As a castle late-comer, I only own something like 6 of the classic-style castle wall pieces. Not to mention all the arches, inverted slopes, and massive amounts of grey involved, I don't think I could ever make anything like that. (...) (24 years ago, 31-Jan-01, to lugnet.castle)

| | Re: Just curious......
|
| I really keep it pretty even. I divide my castle guys up into 5 groups, most of which are pretty obvious distinctions: 1. Camelot Knights: Always "the good guys". Heroes in just about every sense and they have the best castle setup of all the (...) (24 years ago, 30-Jan-01, to lugnet.castle)

| | Re: MOC commercial for a space travel agency

| (...) thanks, as for how it was made... let's just say I have my secrets. Okay... actually my main secret is a couple of black bed sheets pinned to the wall. Upon that I took masking tape and ripped it up into half inch circles and taped them to the (...) (24 years ago, 1-Feb-01, to lugnet.space)

| | Re: what do people think of custom models on ebay?
|
| (...) I would tend to agree. From what I have seen, VERY few sets sell for more than their component parts. Lindsay may be a little low on the max a hull can get, I haven't paid too much attention to how the market has changed, but I used to pay $15 (...) (24 years ago, 1-Feb-01, to lugnet.market.theory)

| | Poor Richard's
|
| If anyone is interested, (Particularly Bryan Hodges seeing as how no one else seems to be in the 'Springs), I just thought I'd let you know that I checked out Poor Richard's Toys downtown today and they didn't have a single LEGO product. It seems (...) (24 years ago, 2-Feb-01, to lugnet.loc.us.co.cos)

| | Re: Is Bionicle violence?
|
| The Wall Street Journal article had a large-print sidebar quoting "They're not weapons, they're tools." Right..... As a side effect I've got a new understanding of "Codewarrior: Tools for the Professional Programmer." They're not weapons, they're (...) | | Pneumatic tubing...

| I know I've seen someone suggest a non-LEGO source for tubing compatible with LEGO pneumatics, but after half and hour of searching through past posts I can't locate it (so sorry for any repitition). I have tried auto parts stores (vacuum tubing -- (...) (24 years ago, 1-Feb-01, to lugnet.robotics)
