  Re: LUGNET T-Shirts are in!

(...) Hmm -- tough (and great) questions! Well, hmm, the XL size says Adult XL (46/48)/XG/TG on the label if that helps... Alternatively, measuring an XL flat gives a width of 25 in. (~63.5 cm.) and a height (measuring from the tippy top of the neck (...) (24 years ago, 6-Jul-00, to lugnet.admin.general)

I never said it was unified, but I believe a majority of USAians support it (and thus, through democratic process the USA supports it) in principle at the least and a significantly higher proportion believe in the practise of it than in any (...)   Why does Lego open its stores where it does? An investigation

Time to think like a businessperson. "Pick me! Me Me me!" is not an argument for placing a store. Let's try to model the most important factors that determine a Lego store's success. Essentially, it must attract a lot of people that buy Lego. To (...) (20 years ago, 12-Jun-04, to lugnet.market.shopping, lugnet.lego, lugnet.market.theory) !

Sorry for the length of this folks, I so rarely get to use my Masters of Education ;-) (...) I think that whether one agrees or disagrees depends largely on what they think they are agreeing to.   Re: How long is a length of monorail track?

(...) Alright, I just tried to measure using my scanner. I figured there would be very little optical distortion on the bed of the scanner, so it'll make a reasonably good straight-on image. Results: 32.7903 studs for the upper ramp 32.8166 studs (...) (14 years ago, 9-Oct-10, to lugnet.general)

The IR beacon, was Re: Homebrew sensors?

(...) The light sensor is directional without a tunnel. I use the IR tower as a beacon. I've got a perl script that listens for RCX messages. Here's the normal sequence of events: 1. RCX sends the message 2 "Turn on your beacon, so I can find you" (...) (26 years ago, 13-Nov-98, to lugnet.robotics)

  Plane assistance?

I'm working on a new model, and it's gonna be huge. I recently purchased the Lego Sopwith Camel set, and I was really impressed. So I decided to build a Spitfire about that size. Perhaps even a little bigger. I have a 1:32 plastic model kit I am (...) (20 years ago, 21-Feb-05, to lugnet.build.military)

(...) So, to check minifig height variations, I get minifig height ranging between roughly 34mm and 49.6mm. For an average, I figured you've got choices for: legs, torso, neck accessories, head, and hair. Legs: 9.6mm - Stubbies(tm) 16.0mm - Standard (...) (23 years ago, 14-Mar-02, to lugnet.general)

  Re: New Star Wars Stuff

(...) I'd have to agree... also, bear in mind that a Falcon the size of an X-Wing is still a lot bigger than the X-Wing just in terms of pieces, etc., since it's a lot more bulky, and doesn't have real 'wings' or a thin body... But usually, the toy (...) (25 years ago, 7-Oct-99, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: An auction gone... funny. What to do?

Bryan, I had something similar happen a couple of months ago. A guy won an auction for two brown baseplates, 16x32, for $7.50. Right in line with Brickbay prices.
