Re: Discussion of Train Table Sizes

In lugnet.trains.org, Philippe Label wrote: (snip) A quick note... If you go with 30 inches EXACTLY, your tables will be just a smidgeon too small to hold a 4x4 baseplate since they are not exactly 15 inches but rather just a little over. We went (...)   Timing of RCX statements

I was trying to simulate a serial link by using an output of the RCX. I didn't work and when I analyzed the timing, I found out that the RCX's execution of statements is far too slow for the protocol I wanted to simulate. So I made some measurements (...)   Re: Inductive sensor?

  Re: Kidvention: Part (6085) Needed!

While examining part 6084 Windscreen Top (Aquanaut Sub) to see what portions I might be able to reuse in creating part 6084, I noticed quite a few errors in the part. There are many extra type 2 lines, and even a misplaced quadrilateral. The whole (...) (24 years ago, 25-Jun-00, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.cad.dev, lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Re: RCX sensor interfaces - diodes

I think the real point here is that it is usually necessary to incorporate a bridge network of six diodes to interface to the RCX sensor inputs. The signalling current must pass through at least two series diodes to get to the RCX terminals - a (...) (23 years ago, 28-Sep-01, to lugnet.robotics.rcx)
