  Owwwww my Eye!!!! R20

So, after the last dinner, Derek showed us his "thing." It was LONG, and HARD, and it shoot those 2x2 blocks a LONG way. It was a great version of a lego gun. Its mechanism was nice, not too much gearing. It was well done. Fast forward to tonight. I (...) (20 years ago, 17-Jan-06, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

(...) mmmm I'd disagree. I think shared walls should be allowable (as I can't think of a good reason why not :) I'd say the XXXXOOOOOOOOXXXXOOOOOOOOXXXX is allowed so long as it is all on one plane. I'm working on a new model, and it's gonna be huge. I recently purchased the Lego Sopwith Camel set, and I was really impressed. So I decided to build a Spitfire about that size. Kerry, thanks for your post. To answer your questions, only 1 6091 is actually used in the royal palace. However there are two "Royal Jousts", and around 7 "guarded Treasuries" included in the set. The lack of Basic brick elements in these sets (...) (24 years ago, 11-Oct-01, to lugnet.castle)

This is the answer I got: (...) Yes (...) No (...) Pick a colour for your walls that you have matching hinge bricks for, or reconfigure so the hinge is one stud behind the wall. Then it doesn't mater what colour the hinge is. Derek (20 years ago, 13-Jan-06, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Sweet! Looks awesome! I like how you got the "palace" look, how you made it look more than just a "castle", by building the keep so high and making it look so intricate. I've never really tried, but I can imagine it must be hard. The two flanking (...) (24 years ago, 10-Oct-01, to lugnet.castle)
