 | | Re: Best "practical" use of LEGO?
| A 180 degree oval turn of track fits perfectly with the shorter dimension of my old lab demo table, so I set up a long oval (to get the trains past the sink) and crashed some of my Lego trains together to demonstrate conservation of momentum and (...) Hypothetically, if you were Mr. Gotta CaseIT, what would you want...something that could hang on a wall, sit on a shelf, fit on a coffee table...??? Role play a little if you (...) | I noticed when you add the demensions of the file size to the file name, the image doesn't get resized in the Brickshelf page image placeholder browser window. As if the image was meant to be seen in a large format. Ie.. Desktop or Wall paper sized (...) (19 years ago, 5-Sep-06, to lugnet.general, FTX)

| Hello! (...) I'm sure quite a lot of people who send up uberbig pictures got the impression BrickShelf DOES resize them. At least it seems to do, in that it compresses the dimensions of the 2000×1000px pix so that they fit into the 800×600px screen. (...) (19 years ago, 4-Sep-06, to lugnet.general) !

Both are scale models of actual objects, and are accurate not only in dimension and shape, but in the number and size of the components from which they (...) | | Bubba wins BrickFest!
| Good news for technic fans! Alvin Brant won Best of Show at BrickFest Saturday night. His Terex Demag CC8800 was dubbed "the big crane", and won the Best Technic award as well. However, his big crane is the LR 11200, so one would have to guess that (...) (19 years ago, 28-Aug-06, to lugnet.technic)
