(...) I don't think is can be underscored enough. Ten years ago, the Lego Company was an enigma, with the same sort of relationship purchasers of Liquid Tide have with Proctor and Gamble: Via the consumer affairs line and through a PO Box address. (...) (21 years ago, 28-Jan-04, to lugnet.lego)

Re: Where is the next LEGOLAND?

(...) Brad Justus at Brickfest 2003 said that there were no plans for a new park anytime soon, and that running four parks was enough. I think the idea of a new park every three years might be a cool idea, but it wouldn't be long before you'd (...) (21 years ago, 2-Sep-03, to lugnet.legoland, lugnet.general)

Re: Where is the next LEGOLAND?

As noted, Brad Justus said there is no new park soon, but we can still speculate :). I'd guess that they would follow the Disney model and consider Florida for the next US park--year round tourist season makes the southern US much more economical (...)   Re: Fwd from a builder: Colors don't match, among other things!

I think it's fine if LEGO wants to ADD more colors to their spectrum, but REPLACING colors is a bad idea; especially staple colors like light and dark gray. Those 2 colors are heavily used by everyone--space, town, castle--we all need gray. I'm (...) (21 years ago, 15-Nov-03, to lugnet.general, lugnet.dear-lego)
