Dear Brad: As you can see, one of the AFOLs primary concerns is the ability to bulk order a wide variety of pieces in vastly different quantities. Let me add my voice to this chorus. Small is beautiful -- particularly when it comes to cardboard boxes. Brad, I've gotten a few "special" sets, 1775 and 2149 in particular, that are densely packed in order to take up as little storage space as possible. It would be nice if TLC would start to package ALL of their sets this way. Almost all of the 1999 (...) (25 years ago, 28-Dec-99, to lugnet.dear-lego)

Your right John! eBay has played a BIG part in the price reduction, infact... think about it, 6086 on ebay could very well sell for $250 or more a year ago, now though I doubt you could get half that price.
