  technic motors as generators????

I saw some sort of diagram some place (I think in some sort of Dacta documentation) stating that you could use a technic motor as a generator. This makes sense, but I never tried it until today and I am utterly amazed at how well it works! I'm using (...) (24 years ago, 4-Oct-00, to lugnet.technic)

  Mini-Review of 6977 - Arachnoid Star Base

This set has been around for a while, so I suspect its been reviewed before. It was recently on sale for half-price ($40) at Zainy Brainy, so I'm reviewing it in terms of this new price. I've also seen it at KBToys heavily discounted. I had always (...) (24 years ago, 8-Oct-00, to lugnet.space)

Re: S@H exclusive minifigure has been shipped! (#3723)

I am curious about the piece makeup in the mini-figure. It seems very expensive given that it appears to be made up almost entirely of basic bricks. From the picture in the S&H catalog, it seems like you could by about 5 $20 "blue tubs" and build (...) (24 years ago, 14-Oct-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.lego.direct)

UCS X-Wing (possibly?) on sale at TRU for $100

I was buying some of the other SW sets on sale at TRU (see about 5 posts up) and the sales guy said that the UCX X-wing set (he identified it as the one for $150) was on sale for $100. I didn't check this out with anyone else, and the UCS set is (...) (24 years ago, 16-Oct-00, to lugnet.market.shopping)
