Re: Does anybody actually know Mr Justus?

(...) To really play the devil's advocate, who says its has to be a "roof" apex brick? Is it really a brick per se if it has no studs? And the term "medium" can applied because of a few reasons, not the least of which, is the comparative slope angle (...) (24 years ago, 21-Jun-00, to lugnet.lego.direct)

In that case, those weird shaped roof pieces are exactly what TLG need to consider including in the next LEGO Direct update. Also, I would consider adding a test of sorts if I were TLG, and have inward and outward sloping low corner bricks made up (...) (24 years ago, 22-Jun-00, to lugnet.lego.direct)

(...) in (...) Well, what I meant was that although we would call it the wrong piece and certainly complain, a child may not since they're less likely to make a complicated roof. It's still a roof apex brick, even if it's the wrong one. And maybe (...) (24 years ago, 21-Jun-00, to lugnet.lego.direct)

(...) I think we're in agreement. We (the people of lugnet) would argue that it's a different piece. But the people at lego may see it differently. Obviously, this piece wouldn't work with the other pieces designed for use with the medium slope (...) (24 years ago, 21-Jun-00, to lugnet.lego.direct)

(...) fixed (...) Not really, for starters it can ruin the "uniform" look of a roof and secondly, as Eric mentioned, with the absense of corner-peaks in low slopes, one cannot make a 90 degree turn in the roof. (...) (...) I think I would have a differance of oppinion with you on the degree of slope in the peek. First it is the wrong part if what they are shipping is the low slope peek and 2 I would say for me the medium slope peek can NOT be used in most cases (...) (...) I dunno, as kids my sister and cousin and I used to use all the (red) weird shaped roof pieces to make complicated roofs with right angles, L's and dormers. Nowadays though, kids might not since the required weird shapes are less common. Kevin (24 years ago, 21-Jun-00, to lugnet.lego.direct)

  Parts lists

A week or so ago, someone posted a link to a site that had all the lego sets and parts, along with what parts belonged to what set. It was not an LDraw list. I can't find that message now. Would someone be so kind as to repost it. Thanks, Brad (21 years ago, 27-Jun-03, to lugnet.robotics)
