  Re: Lightweight show tables

(...) I have built a table similar to the one you describe for my dad's N-scale layout that resides in his living room. I don't think the foam will stand up to the abuse put forth by building with lego on it. It's pretty easy to crack 1" foam by (...) (24 years ago, 27-Jan-01, to lugnet.trains)

  New Jack Stone Sets

Anyone noticed the new Jack Stone sets (4651--4657) on shop.lego.com yet? They're more Town-oriented then ResQ, and are branded "4 Juniors" (being for 4+). Apparently the Jack Stone sets have been rebranded as 4 Juniors as well. In the hilariously (...) (21 years ago, 22-Jul-03, to lugnet.admin.database)

  Re: TECHNIC IS NOT DEAD!!!

A few observations about the new sets (now I've had the time to have a better look). First the fire truck. I've seen enough disaster movies to immediately recognize it as an airport firetruck. The color, oh well, maybe I'd prefer yellow or dayglow (...) (22 years ago, 5-Jan-03, to lugnet.general, lugnet.technic)

New Technic Sets & Bulk Discounts on S@H

[DELURK] I've not been keeping a close eye on Lugnet recently, so sorry if any of this has been announced by others already, but I've just spotted the new Technic sets on sale at S@H - at a glance, UK and Germany have them on sale now, so I guess (...)   Re: History Question, Dear Gary

(...) You are most welcome! The 1xN bricks without posts were around until around 1968, which is pretty late. There are a lot of late 1960's sets that have a mixture of pieces with and without posts, some are Cellulose Acetate, and some are ABS. (...) (24 years ago, 5-Feb-01, to lugnet.general)

Would this Victorian Gazebo Make a Good LEGO Set??

Folks, I built this little 115 piece structure about a year ago. For American AFOLs this little confection would be familiar sight, since such Victorian Queen Anne style gazebos can be found in small town squares and city parks all across America. (...) (17 years ago, 7-May-07, to lugnet.build)

Tjoade in på Lego World Shop, tittade under Themes/Creator, och vips! hittade jag några ekonomipack "vanliga bitar".   no long range IR from laptop says Lego

Does the Lego USB IR tower, when set to long range, sometimes draw more than the 500mA allowed? Or do laptops generally not reliably supply 500mA?
