  Re: Mechanical Memory for Computing

(...) Molecular RAM is still rather a theoretical thing - I don't think anyone has actually built any of it. You might try searching the web for Nanotechnology sites - these guys are really into mechanical computing approaches - although their media (...) (21 years ago, 25-Jun-03, to lugnet.robotics)

  Memory Problems

Hi everyone, Does anyone know exactly how many lines of code can fit on the board before IC begins to run out of memory?? I can't seem to find an exact figure anywhere. What would be more useful - and what I'm assuming (hoping?) alternate firmware like legOS are up to - is to allow you to manage the available memory between data space and code space. There are 6100 bytes of memory available for 5 programs and a (...) (26 years ago, 8-Feb-99, to lugnet.robotics)
