  how to get started programming a Spybot on the Mac?
 
I got a surprise birthday present of a Spybotics set #3808 (is my wife cool or what?). I don't have a Windows machine, but I dug around on the CD-ROM, found the building instructions, and got it working. I'm able to drive it around with remote (...) The only bona fide piece of information I have is the recollection of an off-hand comment made by one of the TLC staff who was at BrickFest last summer who said that if the Spybotics line did not make money, then the future for the Mindstorms line (...) Oops.. absolutely correct - do I feel like an idiot? :) As Doug says, the brick can only be programmed in a limited sense using VLL. My new SPybotics book has a companion website, but it's kinda oriented towards kids (the book, that is) The site will have stuff for kids but I'd like to have some examples and support for (...)
