I just got Set 7787: The Bat-Tank: The Riddler and Bane's Hideout for 50% off at my local LEGO brand store near Portland, Oregon. I love 50% off. It's my favorite price. This set originally retailed for 49.99, so I got it for $24.99. The brand store (...) (18 years ago, 5-Jan-08, to lugnet.market.shopping, FTX)

Nathan changes from LEGO to bottle caps?

So from LEGO to bottle caps, thats and interesting twist. I'll have to make a point of going down to the World of Coke and check it out. I have probably said this before but here goes again. I can think of few other sub-cultures that are as educated, creative (in an engineering way), and passionate as the LEGO sub-culture. I have constantly been amazed at the incredibly creative (...) (18 years ago, 2-Oct-07, to lugnet.lego)

This one is kind of an experiment. I don't know if it has worked or not, but I'm on medication so my mind is a little frazzled right now. I call it "Escape to the Cave". (...) *That* is the ideal solution. I tried to do it as a mosaic using orange and red ( 40x8, side on, or thereabouts, IIRC, but it really needs to be larger to to it justice... and 3D would be ideal). (I do have a minifig aborigine to stand in (...) (23 years ago, 30-Apr-03, to lugnet.loc.au)

  Re: Classic Space XL

Hi Akos, thanks for your feedback. Yes, the main logo on the front was tricky. There was not enough space for a mosaic like logo so I had to come up with another solution. And yes, the LL924 XL will stop by in Berlin next weekend. See U Holger (18 years ago, 21-Aug-07, to lugnet.space)
