Re: 8094 mod: automatic plotter (memorizes in control center)

Just a guess, but maybe you've run into a memory limit in the device such that once x many commands are stored it ignores all commands after that. I don't own one of these, so if you're feeling up to it, you could take yours apart to see what kind (...) (17 years ago, 27-Jul-07, to lugnet.technic)

Thank you, Kevin. It started as a labor of love and unfortunately ended as just labor. (17 years ago, 18-Jul-07, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Brickshelf.com – A Possible Solution

LEGO already has an image hosting service, but it's for NXT creations only: (URL) is not averse to running something like Brickshelf/MOCpages, but LEGO's version is clearly meant to promote the Mindstorms brand. I would like to see LEGOFan.com or (...) (17 years ago, 17-Jul-07, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Brickshelf.com – A Possible Solution

(...) Replying to my own post: According to a whois lookup, the brickshelf.com domain name expires 20 August 2007. If a new site rises from the old, it would be nice for it to have the same domain name. I don't know if Kevin would be interested in (...) (17 years ago, 15-Jul-07, to lugnet.general)

  RunBot

I saw this on Slashdot: (URL) find it interesting that parts of this robot are TECHNIC-esque. That and the fact that the robot walks and runs like a real person. (17 years ago, 13-Jul-07, to lugnet.robotics, lugnet.technic)

At BrickFest last year the LEGO store gave away some cardboard/foamboard displays during the raffle, and one of them was a sequence of pictures called "The Many Faces of LEGO" -- something like that.   Re Rafe Donahue's GBC binary counter

I saw this and was reminded of Rafe's binary counter: (URL) a marble-powered binary adder. Rafe's counter could do this with a tiny bit of modification. He'd just have to add a tray at the top and bottom to temporarily store the input and output for (...) (17 years ago, 25-Jun-07, to lugnet.robotics, lugnet.technic)

Unless you're building in a very large scale, LEGO can only approximate real life. Don't worry about it; the aircraft looks good. The wings interest me. Why are they studs down on the ends? (17 years ago, 13-Jun-07, to lugnet.build.military)
