Re: LEGO Collectors Guide Future Updates as E-Book

As I've said, the nice thing about having the new DVD download is that future updates will be free... I've been getting some recent LEGO treasure images from TLG Archives and elsewhere... For example... the earliest retailer LEGO box is this one (...) (12 years ago, 21-Oct-12, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)

Did TLG ever make a flag of Luxembourg?

TLG made wavy LEGO country flags from November 1957 until circa 1973 (when they were replaced by the stickered straight country flags). And there was one flag that was produced in error (I always called it the old Yugoslavian flag in jest)... with 3 (...) (12 years ago, 23-Oct-12, to lugnet.general)

  Rarest LEGO flag.... Faroe Islands!

If you were taking a ferry boat from Denmark to Iceland thru the North Sea, you would pass by an archipelago of very rugged islands called the Faroe Islands. These are semi-independent from Denmark, although currency and defense are still supplied (...) (12 years ago, 24-Oct-12, to lugnet.general)

Wow.... I cut/pasted my first post over on Eurobricks, and a Danish fellow recognized the earliest LEGO images I had posted, and found a truly rare old LEGO Retailer wooden box... that is "museum quality"!!!   I never knew yellow 1x4x3 windows were so rare.... on sale...

I never noticed that the (what I thought was) yellow 1x4x3 windows with shutter clips was so rare in new condition... but they were only produced once since 1992... in the 2002 remake of the Black Seas Barracuda. Can't believe new ones are selling (...) (12 years ago, 5-Nov-12, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)

Back in the 1950-55 era TLG made LEGO bricks in at least 24 colors (but only 4 sizes... 1x2, 2x2, 2x3 and 2x4). And they also made classic windows and doors, but different from the later (1956-86) classic windows/doors era. These earlier (...) (12 years ago, 16-Nov-12, to lugnet.general)
