| | The History Of LEGO Sloped Bricks - Part 1
|
| Today's topic is Regular LEGO Sloped Bricks from 1958-1972. LEGO sloped bricks today are available in many different angled slopes. The earliest of these (and by far the most common today) are the regular 45 degree slopes. These came out in the late (...) (25 years ago, 10-Sep-99, to lugnet.general)

| This is a reprint from REC.TOYS.LEGO. It is not fact, just my own opinion - and there are at least a dozen other sets I could add to this list. - Gary Istok (...) This is based on my own personal experiences and probably not a true indication of (...) (25 years ago, 14-Sep-99, to lugnet.general)

| Yes, those are the 1x6x5 large windows. These are pretty scarce, since they are available in so few sets. They can also be found in an old Dacta Hospital set (there they are black), and in the old Schoolroom Homemaker set (there they are yellow). A (...) (25 years ago, 13-Sep-99, to lugnet.build)

| Jeff, you asked a very good question. Texture was an interesting part of these sloped pieces. The 1958-72 parts packs basically had the same texture. Not until the mid-1970's did the texture on some of the LEGO bricks start to vary. My train station (...) (25 years ago, 14-Sep-99, to lugnet.general)

| Wow Eric! I'm impressed!! This is the part of the LEGO Master Builder skills that I would flunk at. I just wouldn't have the patience to do this type of work. The sculptural quality of LEGO shows off very nicely here. Great Job! Gary Istok (...) (25 years ago, 16-Sep-99, to lugnet.general, lugnet.build)

| Good answer..... Allan and GBR both got it right! 1x1 and 2x2 quarter circle (macaroni) are correct.
