Re: LIDARStation and LIDARDisp application finished

(...) Thanks, Mario. Love your work too, BTW. (...) I think this would be a very useful modification. Wish I had an ultrasonic sensor to do it with myself. ;) I will point out that the reason the entire assembly rotates is because I wanted it to (...) (23 years ago, 19-Feb-02, to lugnet.robotics)

"Global", in the Ancient World, was a far more restrictive concept; I'm sure you'll agree that any experience lived by an entire region would probably have been considered "global" for many years, until news from distant lands became (...)   Re: Goodbye Lego, hello Megablocks

Oh don't think it is that drastic. I think maybe some of us are getting higher expectations. The kids I see in the shops are ga ga's about some of the stuff. The Bionicles sell quite well for a start and young boys seem to love them (as well as (...) (23 years ago, 14-Feb-02, to lugnet.mediawatch)

  Re: power source

(...) What I meant when i said "unregulated" was a power supply without a 78xx in it. The power supply that I am using consists of a transformer, rectifier (4 diodes) and a 4700uf cap. This means that while it does give a clean voltage, that voltage (...) (23 years ago, 13-Feb-02, to lugnet.robotics)

  Dark Side X-wing [alternate universe?]

My buddy Brian had the interesting idea of making a black X-wing. We just used the x-wing instructions and changed colors as needed. I think the only piece substitution was the 1x3 slopes on the side since I didn't have black angle-bricks. Dark Side (...)
