Is there anyone who has a cd of instructions...?

I know this is probably illegal, but... Does anyone out theer have a cd of scans of LEGO instructions? Do you have a way of copying it? I would like to get such a cd, and don't really want to spend quite that much bandwidth on the dls, especially if (...) (26 years ago, 20-Jun-99, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Ebay prices going down?

I was the winner of this auction. I fully expected the bidding to go to $ 20- 30. My bid was a tracking/hopeful one. I got lucky:-) I have noticed an overall decrease in prices except for the larger rarer sets (except the shuttle). Seems typical (...) (26 years ago, 28-Jan-00, to lugnet.market.auction)

Re: That Wacky Cost of Living

(...) I'd look really carefully at those apartments. There are several areas I would not want to live in for free. I'd guess you're looking at $500/month for something decent in a fairly decent area.   Set IDs

I've been processing a LEGO collection purchased from a kid entering his dark ages, and I've identified a lot of sets, but still have a lot of stuff yet to be identified.   High-Speed cartesian robot

In discussing sprue picker robots with a co worker today, I learned of a company in the USA that is manufacturing a carbon-fibre sprue picker which is lo-inertia.   Re: A large Steam Locomotive & others

Steam locomotive would be cool. But not in minifig scale !!! In minifig scale we have Trains series. Models in Model Team must be bigger. With much more details like classic Trains. But not only trains would be cool. Also ships. What about Titanic ? (...) (26 years ago, 28-Jan-00, to lugnet.modelteam)

Re: best set for micromotors, pneumatics

(...) Yes, perusing eBay it's easy to come to that conclusion. Is there somewhere where the prices aren't quite as inflated? There are occasionally good values to be had, but it's rare. (26 years ago, 28-Jan-00, to lugnet.technic)

Re: Can they do like this?

Wow! Thanks for that pointer. That was interesting indeed. So in your considered opinion, when Lego requests that Lego not appear in domain names of fannish sites, are they harboring a valid concern? Another thought, there are probably a lot of people picking up 6097s on clearance right now, and parting them out. There may just be an oversupply of the columns. Guess I'll hold onto the ones from my 6097s for now. Frank (26 years ago, 28-Jan-00, to lugnet.market.auction)
