I was the winner of this auction.  I fully expected the bidding to go to $ 20-
30.  My bid was a tracking/hopeful one.  I got lucky:-)

I have noticed an overall decrease in prices except for the larger rarer sets
(except the shuttle).  Seems typical around this time of year from what i've
read elswhere.

P.S.  I found this auction by searching "Lego* Castle"

There is a recent Ebay auction that really suprised me.

24 black 2x2x11 pillars from the Night Lord's Castle,
which usually sell for around $1 each, went for only
$7.50 total, around 32 cents each

Have other people who shop Ebay for parts more than I do
noticed a general decrease in prices, or do you think this
one is an anomaly?
