Re: Can they do like this?

The area of trademark law is a bit fluffy (short on hard and fast rules). For an interesting trademark law case that discusses the law of trademarks as it relates to internet domain names, check out the decision in Hasbro, Inc. v. Clue Computing at: (...)   Re: HandyBoard died

I am sorry to hear about your situation, but I would like to point out that this sort of thing is exactly why the handyboard could, I believe, benefit from having a durable case made for it, which provides all access to the handyboard's (and (...)   Re: How good is 8428

Can someone give me a good estimate on the tire size on these wheels? I know they dont have a size stamped on the sidewalls (Do those tires even HAVE sidewalls? :) ) If you could measure one for me I would appreciate it... Metrically if possible (...) (26 years ago, 28-Jan-00, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Positioning

Hi Pete, I agree that the short sight is a problem. In my tests, I used wide strips. Three times as wide as the RCX. And they were no more than a foot apart. So missing them would have been difficult. In real life, you could use similar tricks. For (...) (26 years ago, 28-Jan-00, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: Curious problem with download

(...) Er, no I was thinking of the PCI cards that give up to 4 serial ports; KeySpan used to make them. They were a short PCI card with two or four serial ports, which used a custom extension to route SerialToolBox calls to the 'phantom' serial (...)   McDonald's 1999 promo instructions...

Did anyone archived them somewhere ? Specially for the super set with all 8 sets. Reading previous threads, McD Corp had the instructions on their web site, but it's gone now. Thanks in advance and please remove NOSPAM. (26 years ago, 28-Jan-00, to lugnet.promo)

Re: New Train Window Ideas (old and copied)

  Re: Curious problem with download

(...) I would have ascribed it to the USB to serial converter, but I also see this on the Sun with a real serial port. This is what makes me think it's a problem with my RCX or IR tower.   Re: How good is 8428

(...) I got the 8428 for the wheels too, and then I bought the 8462 as well. The 8428 is an okay set. The back end is very flimsy.
