I have replaced my batteries without erasing the firware several times. The trick is replacing the batteries one at a time with the brick turned off. Bill I have code in QuickBasic and C, would this be any good to you?? It was code that I used at Uni and both versions have been tested on real apps so I know they work. All, Larry mentioned a train in the GMLTC pictures that is not a standard Lego color. It is my beloved locomotive "Kathryn" which pulls the royal train on my layout.
