libtool eh? What the heck is that? I seem to have it in /usr/local/bin but "man libtool" turns up nothing. I guess I'll have to read the man pages on gcc and ld to find out more about the shared libs vs static linking switches. Oh well, I was gonna (...) (26 years ago, 26-Jan-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Larry, Thanks for the build-up . . . but one correction: I abhor painting bricks and would never attempt such a transgression. However, stickers and decals are acceptable because they extend the creative possibilites without permanently damaging the (...) Yay, I just got 5823! Bummer, I didn't get 5801 and 5824. My S@H order arrived (surprisingly) only three days after ordered, and those days where a Sat, Sun and Monday. The package looked a bit too small according to what I ordered (2 5824, 5801, (...) (26 years ago, 26-Jan-00, to lugnet.belville)

(...) Hmmm, perhaps now we're onto something. My executable is only 189110 bytes. Significantly smaller! ;^) I don't think the executable is supposed to be statically linked. I didn't add anything to the makefile to do that. Do you have the .a files (...) (26 years ago, 26-Jan-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)
