i'm running IC version 2.82. i'm not too sure how do i get the handyboard to do multi tasking on three routines: 1. control the velocity of the robot (i called the function 'dc') 2. steer (i'm steering with a front wheel) 3.identify strips on the (...)   Re: Last round of Target markdowns?

(...) I noticed a free pack of Pokemon cards was added to my order, too. My LEGO sets are marked 'in process', not back ordered. Weird. I'm ... er, that is, my kids are interested in the Pokemon collecting card game Booster Paks from Wizards of the (...) (25 years ago, 20-Jan-00, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  Re: Warner Bros "dotcom"

(...) Didn't double my order, but it did come via FedEx today. Six 8735 motor sets! Just need to figure out how to hook them all up to my one lonely RCX (I missed the clearance sales at Target here, so I still just have one). I'll also be starting (...)   Re: Clearance price-matching (was Re: Last round of Target markdowns?)

(...) I don't understand this logic. 'We don't want it anymore, so it's on clearance. But you can return it for the 40% off price and we'll give you all the money back. Then we WILL sell it again, but at a MUCH LOWER price, but NOT TO YOU, because (...) (25 years ago, 20-Jan-00, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  Re: Dave Eaton's Grand Piano

(...) I haven't put them (or a whole lot of stuff for that matter) into a page yet, but here are some of the pics (I'm currently undergoing Linux/Win95 dual boot issues at home which makes it phenomenally annoying to do actual work on pages, etc., (...)   Re: Attention Lego Group: Children don't like juniorization, either!

(...) The terms you're looking for are POOP and SPUD. POOP: "piece out of pieces" -- prefab, juniorized SPUD: "special-purpose, unlegoish/useless/ugly, decorative" -- over-specialized Steve (25 years ago, 20-Jan-00, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Storage needed

(...) This is the first thing i do when i bring home new ones from Kmart. Highly recommended, as the lids tend to get in the way when you are building. Troy (25 years ago, 20-Jan-00, to lugnet.storage)

Re: Last round of Target markdowns?

(...) actually sorta tried this, and found that they wouldnt price match anything that was on clearance, no matter what day it was, or when I bought it. They told me clearance was clearance and unless I was straight up returning it, they wouldn't (...) (25 years ago, 20-Jan-00, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  camera mounts?

Dear Lego- Have you ever considered making a specialized brick that would serve as a camera mount? It would basically be like the head on a tripod but the base is a brick that could be snapped onto RC or robotic vehicles. -- dave (25 years ago, 20-Jan-00, to lugnet.dear-lego)

  Re: Teeny shack

(...) I can't stand the interior... I started building it and only got up a few levels before I realized that I wasn't going to be able to do a nice interior... I was running out of short 1x tan bricks fast... so I used a mix of 2x and 1x tan bricks (...) (25 years ago, 20-Jan-00, to lugnet.castle)
