8480 Space Shuttle have hit $56.25 or less!

A coworker call the Sacramento, CA store, and they were taking 25% off the $75 sale price, making them $56.25 each! I called the Huntington Valley, PA, and they took 30% off the $75, for $52.50 each! These are still going for $120-150 on Ebay. Call (...) (25 years ago, 19-Jan-00, to lugnet.market.shopping, lugnet.technic)

Re: Broken pieces in 8448 Supercar?

(...) Call Lego, and ask for a replacement. They _know_ that this part breaks often, since it seems to be a pourly designed part in the first place.:) James (who has had to replace one of them already) (25 years ago, 19-Jan-00, to lugnet.technic)

Re: What is the best deal on Mindstorms right now?

Hey Maggie! Please let me know what is available in your area at the Targets if you could..(Mindstorm and Technic-wise) We only have one in at least a 50 mile radius or so, and it doesn't have anything marked down last I ran out there.   Re: Attention Lego Group: Children don't like juniorization, either!

(...) Yes, on walls like that, staggered bricks would be better. But look at this set: (URL) 1xNx5 bricks would make it a whole lot more stable than stacked bricks. On short walls, pressure exertedfrom the side can easily punch the wall out. These (...) (25 years ago, 19-Jan-00, to lugnet.general)

  Re: 8 Wide

(...) But you have to admit that they look great (8 wides) compared to toyish 6 wides. I like the analogy of comparing 6 wides to Lionel trains. They just don't look right. And although 8 wides look "LEGO goofy" compared to model trains, they at (...) (25 years ago, 19-Jan-00, to lugnet.trains)
