  Re: Informal Announcey UKLUGy Thingy

(...) Thats great! Thanks! (...) There would be reasons for including Argos (it sells LEGO) and reasons not to (it's a catalogue shop!). It's a valid place to get new ranges though, so if someone submitted it I wouldn't refuse it :) TRU does (...) (25 years ago, 19-Jan-00, to lugnet.loc.uk)

  RE: IR tower mains powered

I've had success in the past cutting wood to the size of the battery case and soldering the adapter wire to nails pounded in the contact locations.   Re: My new Inn of many gable ends...

(...) I love all those gables. There is something very satisfying about using a lot of slopes for a profusion of gables in a building. Great work! Gary Istok (25 years ago, 19-Jan-00, to lugnet.castle)

Re: My new Inn of many gable ends...

(...) As far as the interior goes yes and no. No there currently is not an interior but yes I plan on finishing the interior. I kept interior design in my mind most of the way through construction and I have put in about 1/3 of the floor for the (...) (25 years ago, 19-Jan-00, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Lego Motor properties

I don't think that the Lego motors are 'standard parts' - their specs may not be public. However, presumably, the motors are appropriate for use with the motor controller in the RCX, the MLX10402: (URL) might infer their specs from the load (...) (25 years ago, 19-Jan-00, to lugnet.robotics)
