  Re: I-Escrow service

(...) Sorry, but I am. It's rather steep too. 20 bucks or 5% of transaction face value, whichever is more. See my web pages for details. I do give discounts for sob stories or people I really like :-) (27 years ago, 5-Nov-98, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)

Re: Thanks to Terry Cruse and Ali V.

(...) The box car is a bit different since it has the bin inside... As for the engine design being the best... well, differences of opinion are what make horse racing interesting. I like it just about the LEAST. I would rank the 9v non steam engines (...) (27 years ago, 5-Nov-98, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: Newsgroup Gateway

(...) It somewhat defeats it, yes, but it's the only way to gateway things both ways so that people on one list don't have to sign up on the other list. The main purpose of the signup process is to stop the From-line abuse that was happening (you (...) (27 years ago, 5-Nov-98, to lugnet.robotics)

  Newsgroup Gateway

Maybe you should make a subgroup, like lugnet.robotics.something, I don't have any name ideas, but this mailing list can easily overflow in the newsgroup. Also, this defeats the "signup to post" thingy you put on Nick/Ickna (27 years ago, 5-Nov-98, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: Newbie Question.. FAQ?

I am definitely in favor of this setting up a 2-way gateway between the lego-robotics mailing list and lugnet.robotics. I just went to work for a company that internally maintains thousands of mailing lists. However, they give people the option of (...) (27 years ago, 5-Nov-98, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: list/group merge (was RE: Newbie Question.. FAQ?

(...) I think the word "build" on the front-end of the charter is a holdover from when the group was once called build.robotics before the renaming of the hierarchies. You're right, it's not really restricted to building. And on the (URL) page, it's (...) (27 years ago, 5-Nov-98, to lugnet.robotics)
