  Re: Ping-Pong Ball Shooter

(...) I have built a catapult that fired tire rims mounted on short axles. The reloader was the only part of the design that worked reliably, and could probably be used to load ping-pong balls instead with a few modifications. The basic design was (...)   Re: NQC 2.1 b2 in beta test

(...) Hmmm - the only reason I can think of for this would be if RcxCC is using one of the deprecated options that were removed in 2.1 (-o, -e, and -s which were replaced by -O, -E, and -S). If Mark can confirm which (if any) of these options are (...) (25 years ago, 14-Jan-00, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.nqc)

RE: A new sensor idea (perhaps)

(...) There, a silly, off-handed comment on my part spawns an interesting discussion. Hands up all those that actually knew Canadian quarters were magnetic and American quarters are not! I don't know if I should apologize or look smug. Since I'm (...) (25 years ago, 14-Jan-00, to lugnet.robotics)

  Ping-Pong Ball Shooter

I've missed some of the discussion on the ping-pong ball shooter, I just needed to know if this idea stemmed from it being "launched" like a catapult or are you open to other ideas. One way to accomplish this without worrying too much about physical (...) (25 years ago, 14-Jan-00, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: What kind of motor comes with the 4559?

Ben ... IMHO the 4559 locomotive is great! They just beg to be built with two motors ... they're just the right weight to give two motors excellent traction. Two two motor units will pull more cars than the magnetic couplers can handle! To add (...) (25 years ago, 14-Jan-00, to lugnet.trains)

  RE: CAN SOMEONE HELP!!!...!!!

Furthermore, posts longer than one sentence will probably garner more responses as well. Any details that can be provided to let people know what you are really asking usually helps.
