I remember paying him for shipping, but your right - he has a great reputation, and, at the time, he had far and away the best selection of sets in his auctions. eBay seems to have eliminated (...)   Re: Sentimental Journey (Was Re: What all has TLC done?)

(...) This is one of the best "real" ships I think LC (TLC, TLG, LG, etc.) ever produced. The cockpit is massive, with tons of room for the pilot and computers, the rest of the ship can easily hold many minifigs, along with computers and equipment. (...) (25 years ago, 11-Jan-00, to lugnet.space)

Re: Death of the studded brick

(...) Dan, I think you're definitely overstating the problem. First off, the Star Wars sets you mention are Technic sets - which have always had far fewer bricks than System sets anyway. There are some things you just can't do with the brick. (...) (25 years ago, 11-Jan-00, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Insane prices.... nothing new

Your right John! eBay has played a BIG part in the price reduction, infact... think about it, 6086 on ebay could very well sell for $250 or more a year ago, now though I doubt you could get half that price. Also I played it easy in this last (...) (25 years ago, 11-Jan-00, to lugnet.market.theory, lugnet.market.auction)

  2995 and 2996 from Shop-at-Home

I just got a 5900 from Shop-at-Home. It turned out to be produced in Europe. It just has a label added across the front warning about the choking hazard. See (URL) pictures. My question is: Does anyone know if it is the same with 2995 and 2996 from (...) (25 years ago, 11-Jan-00, to lugnet.adventurers)
