  Re: Interesting Castle on Ebay

(...) Has anyone emailed the winner and asked them to enlighten us when they receive the set? After all the controversy, it would seem like a good idea! I'm curious if the winner thinks they bought a true lego set or not. I still don't believe the (...) (25 years ago, 9-Jan-00, to lugnet.castle)

  4563

Just looking for some opinions. What would be a "fair" price for this set? I realize it's all about supply and demand, and of course, who has Ben Franklin burning a hole in thier pocket, but what would you pay for a MISB 4563? Cliff (25 years ago, 9-Jan-00, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: perhaps a CV joint??

If this is the same part I am thinking of, it is also used in the Technic helicopter (Jet Wasp??), in the rotor mechanism. Mike (...) (25 years ago, 9-Jan-00, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: LEGO sensor

The LEGO sensors and the RCX are the same thing. The standard Handy Board (without an expansion board) can handle all of the passive LEGO sensors such as the touch and rotation sensors. The expansion board is needed to use the active sensors such as (...) (25 years ago, 9-Jan-00, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

  New Mindstorms Club!

Hello all! I'm new to the RCX, but am finding it very easy. Anyway, I looked in Yahoo! Clubs, and only found one decent-sized club that was still alive. I've made a new Mindstorms club, named Mindstorms Emporium. I am looking for members, so that (...) (25 years ago, 9-Jan-00, to lugnet.robotics)

  An introduction.

Hi everyone! My name is Mark Herzberg and this is my first time at Lugnet. If my name sounds familiar, thats because it is. My uncle, who shares by birthday, first and last name, and initials, posts on this group and told me about it (I will call (...) (25 years ago, 9-Jan-00, to lugnet.people)

Re: Higher voltage for HB battery

I find that the ideal solution to this situation is to build a power system for the robot. Maxim, Linear Technology, and National each make very easy to use switching regulators that can provide highly efficient DC to DC conversion. Building a (...)   Re: More: Walmart LEGO Suprise and Adventure!

(...) Southern California stores are pretty darn slow about putting out the sale prices (or not at all). It drives me nuts. I found one Wal-Mart out of four with the Sphinx Secret Surprise marked down (grabbed all four out of frustration!). The (...) (25 years ago, 9-Jan-00, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: Pink Houses (not the song) was Re: How many sets?

(...) I said a Pink Hotel. Think Art Deco. I grew up in the area around Tampa Bay. On St Pete Beach there is a large hotel, built in the 20s I believe, called the Don CeSar. Its pink. It should be modeled someday. Although to do so, I suspect I'd (...) (25 years ago, 9-Jan-00, to lugnet.build)

  LEGO sensor

Some of the expansion board kits (all? sorry, haven't been paying much attention to the extension boards yet) mention that they have slots for LEGO style sensors. Does this mean the sensors they use on their RCX/Mindstorms stuff? What's the (...) (25 years ago, 9-Jan-00, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)
