  Robotics help laserscanning of 3D environment.
 
I need some info on the principles behind 3D laserscanning. (ie: cyberscan etc..). Please don't tell me that it won't fit in my RCX since this project will run on a PC104 platform running a tiny customized version of the Linux kernel or QNX. I (...) (25 years ago, 7-Jan-00, to lugnet.robotics)

I'd like to implement a Visual Basic program able to communicate with the RCX. RCX has commands to send and receive messages, but I don't no a way to send and receive it from a computer program. (...) pbForth lets you display arbitrary numbers. legOS lets you do rudimentary chars on the 7 seg display. pbForth displays a sign-on string.
