  Re: Civil War Theme

(...) That sounds like a great idea. How do we start it? Just let me know and I'm all for it. Who Else wants WW/CW lego pages? I am thinking about buying a bunch of the 6706 Frontier Patrol packs that I have spoted at the TRU and painting the torso (...) (25 years ago, 4-Jan-00, to lugnet.western)

  Pirate Fig

Anybody got an extra of the guy from 6286 Skull's Eye Schooner and 6277 Imperial Trading Post with white fancy-looking shirt, brown vest, gray straps, and red beard (he had different colored tricorne and pants in those two sets)? LMK. Thanks. Mike (25 years ago, 4-Jan-00, to lugnet.pirates)

Installation Problems with MLCad Version 1.6 and 1.7

Dear MLCad fans! I finaly found the problem for the MLCad crashes: Since version 1.6, MLCad uses color-tables. There is a problem now when the program is started for the very first time, since it tries to activate a dialog to ask the user for the (...)   Re: BOGO @ 50% off

(...) So what you're saying is that the warrior with FRECKLES is much more evil and cool than the "dork" with an eyepatch stiched to head? I don't get it. The guy with the cart is nothing more than a Timmy head, it's horrible. Not that i like the (...) (25 years ago, 4-Jan-00, to lugnet.castle)

Looking for scans of 8479 Barcode Multi-Set

I know this would be a large task. Mainly I'm curious about the arm assembly in the front. Thanks, --Ben (25 years ago, 4-Jan-00, to lugnet.db.scans)

Re: Princess Storm, aka warrior woman---Any Pictures?

(...) I was actually doing some calculations on that myself (to see if it would be worth it to buy a few sets like that and sell them off in parts). Here are some of the things I came up with: Baseplate - $10 Storm - $7 Queen - $7 (well - if you (...) (25 years ago, 4-Jan-00, to lugnet.castle)

What pirate ship mast pieces are there?

I know only of the mast base used on the BSB and forbidden island, the mast middle also used on those 2 sets and the mast top from BSB. Are there any others and if so which sets use them? Also I believe there are 2 sizes of rigging piece, if I am (...) (25 years ago, 5-Jan-00, to lugnet.pirates)

Re: Flash philosophy changepoint? (was: Re: New update website at LEGO)

(...) 404 for me too. They're probably doing the develop-on-the-public-server thing again. But as for the flash/nonflash version thing -- I've seen pages on the site that have that before. The nonflash versions are usually pretty overdone too. And I (...) (25 years ago, 4-Jan-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.publish)

Thoughts on 8448 (compared to 8880)

I've always considered the Supercar (8880) one of the finest models TLG has ever produced. When I first found out about the latest Technic automobile - #8448 Super Street Sensation, I was a bit disappointed. The 'specs' on it weren't that impressive (...)   Re: New Year's Resolutions?

(...) The mining colony? Yah, LUGNET kinda got in the way of that and took precedence. :-( But yes, I did start it -- I bought several thousand gray 2xN's and planned out the monorail track on the computer and made a couple dozen "study" models that (...)   Princess Storm, aka warrior woman---Any Pictures?

Does anyone have a large picture of her from the new Castle set they bought. I think she would make a great wallpaper image for my windows background. It would be good motivation for saving for the new castle. I bet the figs from that castle set (...) (25 years ago, 4-Jan-00, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: New Year's Resolutions?

(...) Hey Todd, Have you started building that giant minifig colony yet? I've been looking forward to seeing that ever since '98. Seeing some of your smaller creations I figure this colony's going to be one of the most impressive creations yet seen. (...) (25 years ago, 4-Jan-00, to lugnet.people)

  New Year's Resolutions?

I resolve to clean up my LEGO room enough so that I can build in it again, and so that I can get to my file cabinet which contains all my instructions and catalogs. Every day that passes that I don't build something, another fraction of my soul (...) (25 years ago, 4-Jan-00, to lugnet.people)

Flash philosophy changepoint? (was: Re: New update website at LEGO)

(...) Hey, whoa -- weird. I was just writing up a mail saying how cool it was that the new LEGO Media site had a separate special graphic clicky on it that says FLASH VERSION |> (so it doesn't force Flash down your throat, in other words), and then (...)
