  Blue Spears and Samurai swords?

Not sure if anybody else pointed this out, but: If you look on page 32 of the Year 2000 Catalogue, you'll discover blue spears and blue samurai swords in sets 8511 and 8509 respectively. Just pointing that out... I think they look very strange. But (...) (25 years ago, 1-Jan-00, to lugnet.castle)

Remote RCX control using a second RCX

I´m probably not the first one to think up this, but I just built a very fun robot using two RCX units. First, I built one robot with motors, a standing one with a swiveling wheel in the back. I used parts to make it look "human", added eyes and (...) (25 years ago, 1-Jan-00, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: Classic Castle Figs

(...) Well, you'd have a hard time buying an original castle maiden... And those classic castle men, although not as "expensive" as maidens, are in relatively few sets. Also, those sets are OLD, around late 70's early 80's! So my conclusion is that (...) (25 years ago, 1-Jan-00, to lugnet.castle)

Re: 1.0 to 1.5 upgrade - why after x-mas in the US!

Hehe, for once, Europe gets stuff before the US :-) I got a 1.5 RIS for christmas, and I live in Sweden, we haven´t even got the 2000 catalogue out yet! --Tobias (...) the (...) (25 years ago, 1-Jan-00, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: What should be in the next version of RcxCC

(...) First of all, thanks a lot for making RcxCC. I'm a newbie (owning my RIS since X-mas), but I already love NQC and RcxCC. There's just one little feature that I missed: remembering the last-used path for source files between sessions. Ah yes, (...) (25 years ago, 1-Jan-00, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.nqc)

Re: Building a Mini-fig Army (no scrubs)

(...) in some shots. :) I love the way how your troops are "in rank" and stay in formation. :) How long have you been collecting Castle for? Bryan (25 years ago, 1-Jan-00, to lugnet.castle)

  RcxCC with NQC 2.1

Hi, does anybody know why RcxCC can't spawn NQC 2.1 b1? Is there a trick to do it (other than waiting for the next version of RcxCC)? Uwe (25 years ago, 1-Jan-00, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.nqc)

Re: detecting goal objects at a distance

(...) Well, I knew that camera stores sell IR blocking filters but IR transmission filters? Are you sure? (What would be the purpose for normal photography?) Uwe (25 years ago, 1-Jan-00, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: LDraw: New Parts Update Available

(...) Great new millennium news, and thanks Steve for putting this together. Thanks too to Terry for managing the previous official updates, and seemingly handing over to Steve in an organised manner. Looking forward to 2000-01 ... Chris (25 years ago, 1-Jan-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: Conversation at TRU overheard

Thanks everyone for your reply! So it seems most of us go by the childs abilities.. that's what I wanted/needed to hear, I guess I was just a little upset after the fact at how this woman stunted the child... it still makes me mad when I think about (...)   Re: Question How do we know if Brad is for real?

(...) I suspected that someone would comment like this. I meant no offence when I posted, and auctually I find your comments childish. At least my questions were sincere and not sarcastic. I dont know how long you have been with the group, you may (...) (25 years ago, 1-Jan-00, to lugnet.dear-lego)

  Re: RIS 1.0 vs 1.5

(...) Get the upgrade. With the sticker it only costs the carriage, and it adds a few new pieces, including some quite nice ones (a clutch built into a gear is the 'best'). You have got the 'best' combination with this, there are more parts in the (...) (25 years ago, 1-Jan-00, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: Happy New Year!

And Happy new Year from one of the last to get it... in Beautiful British COlumbia where it is, of course, raining <g>. Didn't stop our neighbour from coming out and giving us a short bagpipe performance at midnight though. Made my evening! Kevin (25 years ago, 1-Jan-00, to lugnet.general)

(25 years ago, 1-Jan-00, to lugnet.loc.it)

  Welcome to the Ohs

Happy New Year everyone. That was the end of the 90's and now its the beginning of the 0's or the oh ohs. Now its double 0h zero. (25 years ago, 1-Jan-00, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Happy New Year!

(...) LOL! That's as funny as the national time webpage saying the date is "1/1/19100" :) They fixed it, of course. I'm sure our 486 will think it's 1980 (if it even has the right date, it's really bad with that)... but if I tell it the date is 2000 (...) (25 years ago, 1-Jan-00, to lugnet.general)

  Storylines

After having viewed Pawel Nazarewicz's The Invasion of Stormbrachter story, I was motivated to begin to think up my own medievel story(won't be online until I can get a good Digital Camera, and a generous amount of minifigs for my armies) Anyways, I (...)   Re: Trading Post Board

I have included Peter Callaway onto the page ((URL) list is considerably more extensive. I'm looking at an easy way to add access to the entire list. What do you think of pdf? (Got acrobat?) An who's got a pdf writer anyway? Regards Richard Still (...) (25 years ago, 1-Jan-00, to lugnet.loc.au)
