  Re: Are they blind???

(...) I've been wondering about this myself. As my children get older it will no longer be possible to quietly "absorb" the Legos they get into my collection. Therefore, there must be some ground rules established before they leave the house. My (...) (25 years ago, 30-Dec-99, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Are they blind???

I know your feeling well! I fell in love with Lego at age 8, and since then that's all I wanted (I'm 34 now). For years though I rarely got Legos for Christmas or birthdays. Occasionally one set here and there, but if I ever wanted anything I always (...) (25 years ago, 30-Dec-99, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Six Shooter

(...) How similar is similar enough? I built a self-loading catapult that was powered by cocking the arm against two #64 rubber bands. At its best it could fire the projectile 8 feet before first contact with the ground, with a total distance of (...) (25 years ago, 29-Dec-99, to lugnet.robotics)

Design Question - For a newbie

I have an idea for a robot, but I'm not sure how to get it to work with the minimal resources that come in the Robotics Discovery Set. Sorry if these questions seem trivial, I'm new to this list and to Lego Robotics. I would like to make a bot that (...) (25 years ago, 30-Dec-99, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: New sets, pictures at lego.com

(...) ~ guess again! i'm actually more excited about these sets than the new system castle! most of this stuff looks good sprinkled in among my mini-fig creations. it occurred to me that in m-f scale the rabbit could be "harvey" or dare i say (...) (25 years ago, 30-Dec-99, to lugnet.belville)

  Re: Threaded axles.

(...) I got a bunch of the length 4's from service packs from Canada (#1345, very likely unavailable now). (...) I dunno either. I've got an 8862, and the #10 threaded axle is great for anchoring the rear pneumatic scoop. I think 8854 also uses one (...) (25 years ago, 30-Dec-99, to lugnet.technic)

  20 Battle Droids + 13 Gungans

Check out my auctions: (URL) one of which is the 20 Battle Droids + 13 Gungans (at $24.95 right now). Contrary to what it states there, I will ship internationally (as I have countless times in the past). -- pn (25 years ago, 30-Dec-99, to lugnet.market.auction)

Re: COMPLETE LIST OF NEW SETS FOR 2000

(...) ---- (...) ---- From what little I know: retailers (the small shop kind) order from a typed list months in advance or else they prepare by requesting "one case of each of everything new ASAP." The pretty color catalog comes later, close to (...) (25 years ago, 30-Dec-99, to lugnet.general, lugnet.publish)

Re: Divers set 6560 Plus others For Sale !!!

(...) on eBay earlier this year and got about $20 for each PAIR, which I thought was reasonable for both parties (me and the buyer). 28 is silly. Kevin (25 years ago, 30-Dec-99, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)
