  Re: santa's trading post

(...) Craig (and group)- Just to let you know, there's still a store near where I live that has a pair of Legoredos. The catch is that they're about $100 apiece (which is why they haven't been sold, I'd gather). If someone needs a proxy or lives (...) (25 years ago, 27-Dec-99, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)

  IR tower/cable

Is the IR tower cable straight-through or what? Tried to use the shipping version with our new Christmas 1.5 and the fit is so tight that it pushed 6 of 9 pins back through the connector on my laptop. The lesson is to use a better cable I think. (...) (25 years ago, 27-Dec-99, to lugnet.robotics)

  Slim Pickings at Target

<whine> Hi all, Is it just here in Detroit, or does Target's post-Christmas clearance stock seem unusually sparse this year? I've been trying to buy up Space Simulation Stations, and across five Targets, I've found exactly one--wait, amend that, I (...)   Re: Review: 7161 Gungan Sub

Just wanted to add my own little bit to the review (GREAT review, btw). I feel the same way about the set. It IS pretty durn big! But look out!   Our Targets SUCK!!!

I visited FOUR Targets today, and NONE of them had the 4561 on sale (even though one had about THIRTY of them). It looks like someone in the Regional office, in their infinite STUPIDITY, decided not to offer them at 40% off, even though most stores (...) (25 years ago, 27-Dec-99, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf)

  Re: January 2000 S@H catalog

Re: Brad Justus' Comments - Why Complain?

Hey Dad!! You seem to be too old to play with Lego. So your message isn't a gripe? And can't be very serious if you've only spent a couple of bucks on lego, come back when it's more like 20 or 30 grand. Mark H. (...) (25 years ago, 26-Dec-99, to lugnet.general, lugnet.dear-lego)
