Re: Questions on parts in XI

Thanks Tony for the fine explanation :) so it depends on just what you want to do with the bricks after they are together. Works for me :) now to ponder just which I need :) Tamy (...) (25 years ago, 19-Dec-99, to lugnet.general)

(...) materials (...) <snipped to conserve bandwidth> You are certainly not in the minority here. I'm quieter than I used to be, (and I wasn't very loud to begin with.) TLC has done a whole wide world of service to all of us, just by coming up to (...) (25 years ago, 19-Dec-99, to lugnet.dear-lego)

  Loader (repost)  [DAT]

Hi again, I changed the custom colours to the already pre-selected colours in MLCAD. Hope it works! Mladen Pejic, over and out! P.S. The reason this robot is in a sitting position is because I really can't make good rotations, but I guess most of (...) (25 years ago, 19-Dec-99, to lugnet.cad.dat.models)

Re: lego.com hopelessly out of date?

I do not have any inside information from Lego on when these sets were supposed to be released, but I'd bet that the stores were not supposed to put them out until January. This would explain why they are not on the Lego site yet (and possibly start (...) (25 years ago, 19-Dec-99, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Policy clarification regarding catalogs

(...) Arguably, that's a flaw in the implementation, not the concept of frames themselves. There should be some way to reference a given set of framed documents using a single URL. Hmmm; actually, that could be done with cgi. So arguably, that's (...) (25 years ago, 19-Dec-99, to lugnet.publish)

(...) It is indeed 080 8-) ...I found it at a toy fair a couple of weeks back. It was definitely incomplete, although the four special baseplates were there, but slightly different from those shown on the box and in the instructions - 4 studs (?) (...)   Re: Instructions for 371-1972 and 1550

I just found 315 in a better condition than the one in the db. No holes, not crumpled and not yellow of age. This could have been my first set :-) And I found the box for 1550. On it is printed the name of this set: Sterling Super Caravelle. Djelle (...) (25 years ago, 19-Dec-99, to lugnet.db.scans)
