I do not have any inside information from Lego on when these sets were
supposed to be released, but I'd bet that the stores were not supposed to
put them out until January.  This would explain why they are not on the Lego
site yet (and possibly start another long thread on retailers who release
product early....)

PS:  Or maybe they just fired their webmaster after they posted the pictures
early and have nobody there to make the changes now!

Given the wide availablity of the new "2000" sets now  in stores (in US • for
over a week, and UK at least), isnt it fair to ask why they are not up in • the
catalog on their web site?

Looking back at the debate last week that was sparked by the premature
publishing of the sets on lego.com (which turned out to be only about 48 • hours
premature by the way), it seems ironic that now the sets are actually in • the
stores, and given that the 2000 catalog in the sets as been available for • some
time anyway, there is no information on them on their web site!

lawrence

(...) No this cant be the case as Lego themselves are selling the sets, in their UK store at least. regards lawrence (25 years ago, 19-Dec-99, to lugnet.general)
