  Re: Ship Power Core

(...) The snow blower is also available over the counter in Europe. The 2000 Star Wars set "Gungan Patrol" (sorry, don't have the number handy) has two in tan, which IMHO is compatible with greys and blacks. best, Lindsay (25 years ago, 15-Dec-99, to lugnet.space)

  2000 Sets Spotted in Jersey

Finally! I was at Wal-Mart (my favourite one, in Edison Twp) this evening to buy a headlamp for my car, and I saw a few of the Y2000 sets--the 7180 B-Wing and the 8001 Battle Droid (Technic). I bought my own plus an extra (I'm poor, so I do sell (...) (25 years ago, 15-Dec-99, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  Re: Mechanoid model

(...) I've got another version with a seat and minifig instead of the torso. Unfortunately, LDraw doesn't have the part for the seat in its partslist, so I can't render it. Yeah, it's my first LDraw model, too. (25 years ago, 15-Dec-99, to lugnet.cad.dat.models)

#4565 Freight & Crane Railway $99 at Zany Brainy

I hadn't been to the local Zany Brainy store here in Madison for a couple of months now, so I walked in kinda hoping that there *wouldn't* be any great sales going on -- you don't WANT to know how much I've spent on LEGO lately -- but no such luck, (...)   Re: Has anyone ever been missing a piece?

(...) No offense taken. Frankly, unsatisfactory opinions from people that I don't know usually don't bother me. I'm not sure what you mean by a "customer-facing situation" but, if you are referring to customer service problems, i.e. a situation (...) (25 years ago, 15-Dec-99, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Pentapterigoid Star Fighter wallpaper

(...) Basically, all you have to do is add this in the texture: pigment { image_map { tga "filename.tga" } } You can replace "tga" with any other file format that POV-Ray recognizes. To make things easy, I just mapped the images to 1x1 squares[1], (...) (25 years ago, 15-Dec-99, to lugnet.cad.ray)

(...) What a brilliant idea! Even better, why not just sell the parts you can't get from some sets?
