Re: "Forening af nordiske LEGO-byggere" (Was: Reklam för lugnet.loc.se?)

Fredrik Glöckner skrev i meddelandet ... (...) Jag tycker att vi också borde ha en avdelning med legobyggen av medlemmarna. En textlista med länkar skulle nog inte inspirera så mycket... --Tobias (...) (25 years ago, 14-Dec-99, to lugnet.loc.se, lugnet.loc.no, lugnet.loc.dk, lugnet.loc.fi)

  Re: Comments on models

I'm not a CAD modeller. Are these models rendered somewhere for the casual observer to see? A revised version of this post with links to a rendered image of each model would be most, *most* appreciated =) ... if that's not too much trouble. Or (...)   Re: What is 'LDraw?'

(...) I'd prefer that the group and website both go by ldraw.org. When refering specifically to the people, it would be 'ldraw.org group'. For the webpages, it would be 'ldraw.org site'. (...) Which updates? The new mklist.exe? Fixed versions of (...) (25 years ago, 14-Dec-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: Line in the Sand

(...) Yes, it would render correctly, but it would also disable clipping more often than is required, in the case of mixed solid and transparent sections. Think of a submodel where the author used color 16, and the person using the submodel renders (...) (25 years ago, 14-Dec-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Christmastime pilgrimage to New England

I'll be visiting family in New England next week, arriving the 17th and departing the 26th. I'll be staying with my dad, in Billerica, but we plan on spending a couple days skiing at Killington VT (probably Sun and Mon or Mon and Tue). I usually try (...)   Re: Introducing LEGO Direct

(...) for (...) as (...) Houses and other buildings -- this is something that the bucket sets could address. The first LEGO set I owned was a universal building set that had enough roof elements, windows, and doors to make houses, and, as a (boy) (...) (25 years ago, 14-Dec-99, to lugnet.dear-lego)

  Re: Comments on models

(...) LMK means Let Me Know. MKM16 is just shorthand for Microfig Kreigmacht #16. (This is why I don't work in marketing! :-) Thanks! This one is my favorite too. It looks ugly enough -- like a dump truck is ugly -- to be real. Cheers, - jsproat (25 years ago, 14-Dec-99, to lugnet.cad.dat.models)

  Re: Line in the Sand

(...) It's an admin role vs. personal role thing. I took it upon myself to write up a spec, I didn't want to imply that it was endorsed by the group at large. (...) Hmmm. You're right. Inversion is no more global than accumulated clipping. They are (...) (25 years ago, 14-Dec-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: Lego capable CAD software for the Mac ?

(...) Actually, I'm interested in getting a standard, OO Perl module for LDraw files. I've been working on one which offers levels of abstraction for line (partline, quadline, etc.), part, file, mpdfile, etc. #Mmmm.... use LDraw qq( :file (...) (25 years ago, 14-Dec-99, to lugnet.cad)
